TOYO announces sponsorship of Goodwood Revival 2009

Toyo Tires, the reputable Tyre manufacturer from Japan, are the official group sponsor at the Goodwood Revival for the first time this year.

Sarah Clavey, senior marketing executive at Toyo Tires says:

“Toyo Tyres have achieved great success within a relatively short period in the Trackday and motorsport arena. Our range of motorsport tyres, led by the Proxes R888 are fast becoming the tyre of choice by many competitors and in many championships. As the Goodwood Revival celebrates all aspects of motorsports, from past to present, we are very excited to be associated with such a prestigious event which brings together all of our motorsport values.”

Toyo Tires are very proud to be supporting this nostalgic event as it is one of the flagship events within the motorsport calendar. It takes a historic look back at motor racing, however also successfully incorporates the modern-day side of motor racing through the sponsors and exhibitors attending the event and also through the cars and well known drivers who will be racing on the track.

As Toyo Tires is already highly involved with motorsports, through the sponsorships and support of numerous race championships, we feel it’s important not to forget the roots of the sport. Therefore to take part in an event which celebrates the heritage of motorsports seems to be a natural progression for Toyo Tires.

Toyo Tires are well known for their presence as such high profiled shows and exhibitions. For example, we exhibited at both the Goodwood Festival of Speed and also Autosport International earlier this year which are two other major shows in motorsports. These pull in thousands of visitors and prove very successful for us.

The Goodwood Revival will be held over three days at the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester, West Sussex, which during its active time through the 1940’s to the 1960’s hosted many major sporting events. It has an atmosphere like no other sporting event, there’s a strong period feel through the whole weekend and it attracts car enthusiasts from all over the world. You are encouraged to dress in the appropriate period clothing from the 1940’s and 1950’s, which adds to fun!

TOYO TIRES experienced staff will of course be available to discuss and advise you on any questions or queries you may have. For further information on Toyo Tires, please visit www.toyo.co.uk.
