TOYO TIRES SUPPORT A RISING STAR
16 February 2024
Toyo Tyres (UK) Ltd sponsor up and coming boxer George Killeen
TOYO TYRES (UK) Ltd are ready to pack an extra punch after teaming up with hot prospect Boxer, ‘George Killeen’.
The Manchester ring star is currently preparing for his fifth professional contest on Saturday 17th February.
Toyo UK Managing Director Colin Pears said, “George is an exciting new Professional Boxer and we are delighted to back him”
Colin continues to say, “We’re looking forward to following George as he bids to take an extra step up the ladder of success and make his career goals come true”.
Killeen has been boxing since the age of 11 and made his ring debut two years later.
His rapid rise is underlined by an outstanding record of 37 amateur bouts as a junior and beat numerous national champions before turning professional in May 2023 as a 19-year-old.
Unbeaten in his first four professional fights, Killeen is yet to lose a round on the scorecards and is a highly rated prospect on the Manchester boxing scene.
He plans to keep busy in 2024 and fight at least five times during the year, climbing the rankings and building towards a title challenge at domestic level.
The aspirations are to top the Light-Middleweight Division domestically on the way to headlining big shows and the ultimate dream, bringing a world title back to Manchester.
